Here is a year-end list from Artnet on how some of the most widely collected artists performed at auction in 2004 - who is up, who is down and who has maintained the status quo - plus a prediction on how they will do in 2005. All artists are listed in alphabetical order within their respective categories. Above: Jenny Saville - a bona fide auction star who is already being compared favorably to Lucien Freud.
