Massive New York Sculpture

A massive bas-relief sculpture depicting firemen responding to the September 11 attack on the World Trade Center will be unveiled across the road from Ground Zero on Saturday. The 56-foot (17-meter) long and six-foot (1.8-meter) high solid bronze was designed as a memorial to the 343 firefighters who died -- most of them crushed when the twin towers collapsed. Organisers said it was believed to be the largest bas-relief sculpture in North America. Irish Art
