11yr Old Wins Pavement Prize

11-year-old Jack Lewis, from Powys, has been named Young Pavement Artist of the Year at Tate Britain in London. Jack's winning art beat 22,000 young budding artists in the national art competition. At the awards ceremony all the winning artists received trophies, cheques and a special certificate from Tate Britain in recognition of their art being exhibited in the prestigious London art gallery. Jeanette Barnes, of the Royal Academy of Arts, said: "All the judges were delighted by the high standard of art, but felt Jack Lewis's drawing stood out with its unique composition and scale.
