Tracey's Art No 1

From this week, reports the Observer, passengers on Britain's trains and buses will have the chance to clutch a newly minted work of art by Tracey Emin as they travel. More than 100,000 specially designed ticket wallets, featuring the work of Emin and a series of 10 other leading artists, are being distributed in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol, Leicester, Birmingham and Bristol to mark the 60th anniversary of the Arts Council. 'Art In Your Hand' focuses on the theme of travel, though Emin's work features the outline of a cat next to the words 'we've got fur and lots of ears'.
