Lost Master Found in Devon

An Old Master painting which had hung on the wall of a dark staircase in a Devon country house for 150 years could be sold for about £300,000 at auction. The work, by Dutch artist Jan Brueghel the Younger, was spotted by Andrew McKenzie, director of Old Master paintings at Bonhams of London. He had completed a valuation at the house when he was invited to take a look around the property. He spotted the painting which will now be auctioned on 6 July.
