Later this year, it's promised. The artist Damien Hirst will present his Catalogue Raisonne. The art book will produced jointly with the Gagosian Art Gallery and Other Criteria, Hirst’s own publishing company. The 1,000-page artist's catalogue will be lavishly illustrated including all 1,365 "spot" paintings. Apparently Hirst is working on a million dot painting so anyone out there with a huge, blank wall - your time is coming.
Collectors of his art will love a big coffee table book on this artist but whether this will bolster the artist's reputation remains to be seen.
